About the Role
BridgeCare is looking for AI/ML Engineering Interns to build and optimize AI-powered student counseling and coaching systems at scale. You’ll contribute to integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) with a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline to support human-assisted AI responses.
Full-time • Remote
Responsibilities
Develop & optimize AI-powered conversation flows for student coaching with a human-in-the-loop (HITL) review pipeline.
Implement a scalable RAG system using vector databases to ensure accurate AI-driven responses.
Deploy and integrate LLMs (Claude, GPT-4 Turbo) via Amazon Bedrock/OpenAI APIs for real-time interactions.
Optimize AI retrieval pipelines to handle thousands of concurrent student users without performance degradation.
Implement safety, logging, and analytics to monitor AI effectiveness and track response improvements.
Collaborate with engineers & product teams to refine AI workflows and user interactions.
Required Experience
Experience working with LLMs, NLP, or AI-driven applications.
Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock and other AWS AI/ML tools (Sagemaker).
Strong software engineering skills (Python, FastAPI, LangChain, etc.).
Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and debugging AI systems.
Not Required but Nice to Have
Experience in NLP-based chatbot development.
